Ruth has a talent for training people in a practical manner. She has directed teams for company-wide changes as well as one-on-one individual changes. She has received many compliments from folks she’s trained. They often say that they’ve tried to understand the material before, but Ruth makes it more understandable by using pertinent examples relating directly to their work.
Below are examples of some of the training Ruth has completed. All documentation is created and left with the client for their continued use and reference.
- Trained warehouse, production employees and managers on inventory
accuracy procedures. Has had very good results with training on cycle
count procedures as well as overall inventory receiving, shipping, and
storage techniques to improve warehouse organization and response.
- Prior to implementing a new computer (ERP) system, Ruth has trained
every client employee needing the information. This includes upper management
through shop floor personnel. She also works directly with staff and
hourly workers at their work stations as they are inputting their data
into the computer sessions. This helps them ask questions when they
are on the sessions that directly pertain to their job tasks.
- Training manuals for computer transactions that have been prepared:
- Cycle count procedure and audit process for Accounting department
- Receiving & Shipping with all required transactions
- Manufacturing – work order launch through completion
- Subcontract product with flowchart and detail computer input needed
- Item Master input with definitions for all fields
- Inventory transactions such as transfers, inventory issue, physical
inventory,
Return Material Authorization (RMA), etc.
